Our History
Modern plating is an electroplating business providing quality metal surface finishing services to both the industrial and private sector. Modern Bumper bars was established in 1962 as a chrome bumper bar exchange company. Within a couple of years,the company has transformed into a thriving electroplating business. For many years we have been regarded for out expertise in the electroplating industry. Our chrome and general electroplating services cover a wide range of metal finishes to metal products including door hardware, trolleys, tap-ware, shop fittings, exhaust, truck and car parts.
Modern Plating is conveniently located at 4-6 King Street, Oakleigh which is in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne (Melway Reference 69 H9)
Our premises is an approx. 16 km drive from Melbourne CBD and can be accessed via Princess Highway.
